Now that we’ve had time to reflect on Conga Connect Orlando, we’re ready to share our favorite parts of the magical few days we spent with our customers and partners.

First, we’d like to take a moment to thank all of our customers, partners, sponsors, employees, and speakers for helping us put on our best Conga Connect yet! We had a 91 percent attendance rate, which is almost unheard of in the industry! We couldn’t have done it without the hard work from our team, and the feedback we received from our loyal customers and partners.

Here’s a little bit of what we experienced while in Orlando:

We asked attendees to help us out by leaving reviews for our solutions on G2 Crowd. In return, we were able to donate $10 per review to the American Cancer Society. We're pleased to announce we donated a total of $940!

Inspiring keynote speakers

We were thrilled to welcome Alex Morgan to the main stage to kick off day one of Connect. Alex participated in a Q & A style interview with our VP of Global Marketing, Esther Flammer, where Alex spoke to challenging the status quo both on and off the soccer field. She shared how she believes that change is a necessity in life, and empowerment is key to succeeding in effecting change. She referenced building a community and bridging the gap between different industries to find that empowerment—that agents of change are much stronger when taking a stance together.

On day two, R “Ray” Wang, head of Silicon Valley-based company Constellation Research, brought his infectious energy to the stage to engage a somewhat sleepy crowd (after a late night at Universal Studios!) and get them ready for another day of learning.

Ray’s presentation explored why digital business disruption is no longer an option, but a necessity. He shared how the shifts in our social, organizational, and technological expectations have required a new way of thinking about business. The audience walked away with best practices and ideas for how they can engage in digital transformation to disrupt any industry.

Daymond John, known for his global fashion empire, FUBU, and his starring role on ABC’s Shark Tank, followed Ray Wang for our second keynote of the day. Daymond took us through his career and how, with no formal business training, he went from driving cabs and waiting tables to become the business mogul he is today.

Daymond shared the exact goal-setting strategies that he attributes to his success and taught the audience how to incorporate them into their own endeavors with newfound focus and determination. Daymond’s presentation was truly unique, paired with a sensational musical playlist and given in his charismatic style, he energized the room and set the tone for the rest of the day. Daymond followed his keynote with a meet-and-greet and book signing.

Agents of Change

At Conga, we celebrate the people driving change in their organizations, disrupting the status quo for the sake of progress. They are often behind the scenes, knocking down barriers and solving problems. At Connect Orlando, we wanted to recognize some of the Conga customers who are championing change at their organizations, so we held an awards ceremony to kick off the second day to celebrate them!

Engaging sessions, interactive booths, and more

As always, we offered one-on-one time with Conga experts at our Solution and Demo stations. And this year, we reimagined the agenda with tons of hands-on training sessions where some of our Conga University courses came to life with in-person instructors.

We were also excited to welcome guest speakers like Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist at Salesforce, and Andy Bartels, VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester, to our breakout sessions.

Some of our sessions were extremely popular—like our product roadmap session—and we, unfortunately, had to turn people away due to rooms being at capacity. Inspired by the energy and learning from the conference, we’ve taken the most popular breakout sessions and are spinning them up for a virtual Connect webinar series.
