Conga’s Digital Transformation Officer Ash Finnegan Recognized with Female Executive of the Year Stevie® Award
Recognition is a testament to Ash and Conga’s continued commitment and focus on supporting women in the technology industry and workplace
Oct. 25, 2021 – Conga, the global leader in Commercial and Revenue Operations transformation, today announced its Digital Transformation Officer, Ash Finnegan, has been named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Female Executive of the Year category in the 18th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Ash Finnegan was recognized on behalf of Conga in the Female Executive of the Year category for Business Products -- 11 to 2,500 employees.
Ash was selected for her many achievements at Conga, including her work with customers and partners in leading digital transformation programs, and most notably, the creation of Conga’s Transformation Maturity Model assessment. The assessment allows business leaders to gain clarity on exactly why they are taking on a DX project, including what real business outcomes they require, and where there are pain points that hinder and prevent them from achieving operational excellence. The assessment ensures the selected technology aligns to their business objectives, solutions are implemented at a pace that allows for easier adoption, and outcomes are measurable. This model has grown to become the company’s primary framework in facilitating customers’ digitization journeys and has been assessed and approved by many of the top industry analysts. It has resulted in several customer wins, significant increases in company revenue and stronger customer retention and satisfaction levels.
Ash is also an advocate for women, and is passionate about introducing young women to the technology industry. She has dedicated a significant amount of time to working in secondary schools and running workshops on technology, transformation and the job roles available to students. Currently, she is working to set up an intern program at Conga to offer real work experience and attract talent to the sector, knowing the importance of and responsibility organizations have in helping students. In addition, Ash continues to be involved with an organization called Supermums, an international initiative focused on helping parents get back into the workplace, specifically within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Ash has also made several achievements on the culture and diversity front, in addition to contributing to Conga’s overall growth and innovation. Most recently, she helped launch Conga’s ‘Women in Tech’ group in EMEA to create a stronger female support system via mentorship and networking events between women within the organization.
“Since joining Conga, Ash has proven her professional acumen through her ongoing efforts identifying and removing operational roadblocks, aiding corporate growth and helping Conga’s customers achieve their bottom lines,” said Noel Goggin, CEO, Conga. “As a result, Ash has become one of Conga’s most sought-after digital consultants and leaders within the company -- and across the industry -- by partners and customers alike. But her contributions don’t stop there. Ash is committed to educating young women and introducing them to the tech industry. She truly plays a critical role in mentoring future professionals in and out of our company. It’s my pleasure to work with Ash and continue to see her grow in her career and at Conga.”
Ash is one of the many female Conga employees contributing to the culture and growth at Conga. In return, Conga has demonstrated its commitment to growing and developing women, and challenging gender bias and inequality in a number of ways, including:
- The Conga Way: A framework for what Conga stands for and everything the company does -- from hiring to decision making and product development. The Conga Way framework is reflected in an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to achieve together, while always championing customers.
- Celebrating and supporting women: Part of living the Conga Way is celebrating diversity -- including gender diversity. Conga regularly hosts events, webinars and women-led panels on the topic, and provides support and resources to employees.
- Fighting gender bias: Conga hosts sessions dedicated to creating an equal world with programs that counter gender stereotypes and recommendations for what to do when encountering a bias. Employees consistently challenge gender bias and inequality through living the Conga Way.
- Dedicated microsite on inclusivity: Conga hosts an internal microsite with additional resources, articles and ideas on how employees can give back and volunteer.
