Conga Registration Terms
These terms (“Terms”) apply to your attendance at Conga Corporation (“Conga”) Conga events (the “Event”). The specific Event dates and Venue are specified on the registration page. By registering and/or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms.
Event registration
By signing up, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that your registration details are accurate. To attend the Event party on the date indicated on the registration page, you and any of your guests must be 21 years of age or older. You may only register yourself or someone who has given you permission to register on their behalf for the Event, and you may not impersonate others. Each ticket is personal to the registered pass holder. Only one promo code is allowed per registration and cannot be combined with other discounts or applied retroactively. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses and managing their own travel documentation and visas (where applicable).
Pass transfer
You may transfer your Event pass to a friend or colleague within the same organization by notifying Conga by email at Congaevents@conga.com by the pass transfer deadline stated on the registration page. If you receive a transferred pass, you will become the pass holder for purposes of these Terms, and you agree to the same Terms associated with the original pass. Unofficial resales, transfers, or copies are not permitted and may result in the pass being cancelled, in Conga’s sole discretion. Passes cannot be exchanged for cash or credited toward future years.
Cancellation and refund policy
If your plans change, please email Congaevents@conga.com. Requests received by the first cancellation deadline specified in the registration terms are eligible for a full refund of all pre-paid registration fees. If your request is received by the second cancellation deadline specified in the registration terms, you will be eligible for a refund of 50% of pre-paid registration fees. Refunds will be issued back to your original payment method. Tickets are non-refundable beginning after the second cancellation deadline.
Event changes
Conga may update these terms to ensure the event runs smoothly. While we strive for consistency, event features like speakers, schedules, and activities may change or be cancelled without notice, in Conga’s sole discretion. Each pass serves as a revocable license for admission. Access to specific Event features depends on availability and may require a separate fee where indicated.
Event cancellation
If circumstances beyond our control make it impossible, impractical, or inadvisable to hold the Event (in Conga’s discretion), Conga may cancel the Event without liability. This may include, but is not limited to, wars, acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, technical outages, epidemics, pandemics, or other health emergencies. If Conga cancels the Event, your registration fee will automatically be applied to the next scheduled Conga Connect event. If you prefer a refund instead, you may request one by contacting Congaevents@conga.com within 30 days after Conga provides notice of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within [30] days of the request. Rolled-over registrations are non-refundable after the refund request period has expired. In such cases, Conga’s liability is limited solely to this refund, and we are not responsible for any other costs or expenses.
Event recordings and publicity
By attending the Event, you agree that Conga and its partners, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and agents (the “Conga Parties”) have the right to photograph, record, and otherwise capture images, audio and video at the Event, which may include your name, image, likeness, and/or voice (“Recordings”). As between you and Conga, all Recordings will be owned by Conga, and the Conga Parties may use these Recordings in any media whatsoever, whether known or unknown. This includes everything from social media and marketing to webinars, internal business use, and advertisements for Conga or our sponsors and partners. You waive any right to inspect or approve such use.
Please be advised that external media may be present at the Event. Conga does not control or influence any photos, videos, interviews, or content captured or published by third-party media outlets. By attending the Event, you acknowledge that media may record or distribute content at their discretion.
Event content and feedback
The Event features proprietary content owned by Conga. Your attendance does not give you rights to use Conga trademarks, logos, branding, or other intellectual property without the written permission of Conga in each instance. Views expressed by Event speakers are their own and Conga does not accept any responsibility for such views. Any feedback or suggestions you share with us can be used by Conga without restriction. You are not permitted to record Event sessions or distribute Event materials to third parties. You are responsible for any photos or recordings you create at or in connection with the Event, and you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Conga Parties, the owner of the Venue, the city in which the Venue is located, and all affiliated partners, and each of their respective employees, contractors, officers, directors, staff, and volunteers (the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from any third-party claims related to your use of photos or recordings you capture at the Event.
Confidentiality
You agree to keep Conga Confidential Information strictly private. The term “Confidential Information” means all non-public information, whether business or technical in nature, that Conga or its employees, contractors or agents designate as being confidential, or which under the circumstances of disclosure ought to be treated as confidential, and includes the content and presentations at the Event, information concerning business methods, pricing, business plans, new product launches, customer and vendor information, internal policies and procedures, and financial information. This excludes information that was already known to you, becomes generally known through no fault of yours, or is given to you by a third party that is free to make that disclosure without restriction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may share session content internally within your organization, provided that such content is not posted or shared publicly.
Health and Safety
Conga may change the Event format without liability, including moving to a virtual platform, if necessary for health or other safety reasons. Firearms and weapons are strictly prohibited. The Event Venue is a private contracted space for the duration of the Event. By registering for and/or attending the Event, you agree to comply with this policy.
We want everyone to feel welcome and safe at the Event. Participants are expected to be professional, respectful, and mindful of our diverse community. We have zero tolerance for harassment or abusive behavior of any kind. This includes, but isn't limited to, unwanted physical contact, unwelcome attention, or any insults, jokes, or content that is offensive or targets someone’s gender, identity, age, orientation, disability, appearance, race, origin, religion, or beliefs. Additionally, fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Right of refusal
Conga reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone if they violate these Terms or other Event policies, for disruptive or illegal behavior, or if a participant enters the Event for the purpose of competitive analysis or seeking a competitive advantage.
Assumption of risk and release
While we work to provide a safe environment, you assume the risks of attending a large public gathering, including personal injury or loss of property. By registering for or attending the Event, you agree to release the Indemnified parties listed above from any claims or liabilities arising from or related to your participation in the Event. This release applies to any activities occurring before, during, or after the Event, as well as our use of any rights you’ve granted us in these Terms. This includes any claims for personal injury, illness, death, or any loss or damage suffered by you or others, and applies to all types of claims, including those based on negligence.
Indemnity
By registering for and/or attending the Event, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or resulting from your presence at or participation in the Event, including but not limited to any physical damage to the Venue or other property, injury to any person, or resulting from your acts, omissions, or breach of these Terms.
Limitation of liability
The Indemnified Parties shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any type. To the extent permitted by law and without limiting the foregoing, the Indemnified Parties will have no liability whatsoever for: (i) personal injury or property damage resulting from your access to the Event; (ii) any errors, mistakes, inaccuracies, or omissions in any content, materials, or Recordings; or (iii) any lost, stolen, or damaged passes. The limitations in this section will apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
The Indemnified Parties’ aggregate liability arising out of these Terms, your registration, and your attendance at the Event will not exceed one hundred U.S. Dollars (USD $100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of damages, so these may not apply to you. In such cases, the Indemnified Parties’ liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Attorney’s fees will not be awarded or recoverable under any circumstances. The Conga Parties disclaim all warranties (express or implied) regarding the Event. The Event is provided “as-is” and the Conga Parties do not warrant that any content or materials will be accurate or complete.
Data privacy
By registering for the Event, accepting a transferred Event pass, and/or by attending the Event, you agree that your name, email address, phone number, company and employment information, any other personal information you provide or that is provided on your behalf may be processed, shared, and otherwise used by the Conga Parties within the context of the Event and any other purposes outlined in these Terms, including to verify your identity. This includes the publishing of your name, job title, and/or company name in an official attendee list or directory that may be shared publicly with other participants and sponsors. If you would prefer not to be included in the attendee list, please contact us at Congaevents@conga.com.
If you opt in, you agree that Conga may contact you by email for marketing or promotional purposes. For details on how Conga collects and processes personal information, please see the Conga Privacy Notice. You have the right to access, review, rectify, or cancel any personal data held by Conga by following the instructions in the Conga Privacy Notice called “Your rights as a data subject.”
Where you have opted in, your personal information may also be shared with sponsors for promotional purposes and used in accordance with their own separate privacy policies.
