PatientPoint works with over 1,000 hospitals and 50,000 medical practices in the country to aid with point-of-care solutions to improve every interaction a patient has with his or her doctor.
PatientPoint’s process to get there, though, once involved a very manual PDF-based operation that included several steps across many departments. The client solutions team processes about 12,000 documents annually, and in many cases, documents were incomplete or needed to be redone.
Internally, PatientPoint was having some difficulty keeping track of projects reported across different Salesforce objects. There wasn’t one singular place where a sales rep or manager could go to manage active projects.
In fact, all of PatientPoint’s document systems were housed in different places — and they didn’t interact with one another.
With Conga Composer, Conga Grid, and Conga Sign, PatientPoint now has an end-to-end digital document process that saves money, time, and energy.
Composer brought the document generation process directly into Salesforce as the “one record of truth.” Proposals are sent to the customer and the finance team with ease, while keeping everyone in the loop.
Grid has helped the PatientPoint team keep track of internal projects and improved visibilty. The solution saves salespeople and managers time, as reps can view and manage opportunties and update data more quickly and easily. Sales operations has also used Grid to find creative ways to plan and manage territories. For Salesforce administrators, Grid also serves as a great way to clean up data and records, which provides them the freedom to better use Salesforce.
Ultimately, PatientPoint closed the Digital Document Transformation circle with Sign, and they were able to seamlessly create, manage, and sign documents from beginning to end, all in one system. Sales reps are more productive and there’s a lot less paper floating around the office.
