Conga at Dreamforce 2019

Conga is ready to “suiten” your Dreamforce experience. We’ll be back at the ThirstyBear brewery, just steps from Moscone, with our Digital Transformation Wonderland! One of our favorite parts of Dreamforce is the opportunity it provides us to connect with our customers. We can’t wait to open the doors of the ThirstyBear to welcome you with food, drinks, and an amazing space to relax, learn, and connect with Conga experts and peers away from the buzz of Moscone. You can register now for your pass to the fun we have planned at the ThirstyBear, and to stay up-to-date as we get closer to November.

This year we’re transforming the Wonderland into an interactive Suite Life experience, where you’ll learn about the benefits of our end-to-end digital document transformation suite (plus tons of fun mixed in!). And while we’re changing up the look of the Wonderland, we’re bringing back favorites like our premier silent disco, expert sessions at our Solution Stations, and fun challenges and rewards in our Conga Champions program

Premier silent disco

Consistently one of our favorite parts of Dreamforce, our premier silent disco is a one-of-a-kind dance party you won’t want to miss! We pack the house every year with sets from multiple DJs, complimentary food and drink, and an all-around unforgettable night. Because of its popularity, you’ll want to get on the guest list early to secure your spot!

Conga Solution Stations

You can book time with our technical experts at Dreamforce! Our Solution Stations are consistently one of the most-loved aspects of Conga events, and it's not hard to see why. You can use this one-on-one time with our experts to brainstorm new use cases, optimize existing ones, or find innovative solutions to your toughest challenges.

These appointments will fill up quick—book yours now!

Conga Champions

We love to reward our customers like the champions they are! There are many reasons to join our exclusive customer group, including the fun we have in store for Conga Champions at Dreamforce! We’re creating challenges and activities specific to the Dreamforce experience, where Champions will have the opportunity to earn points toward special-edition sway that can be redeemed on-site! Dreamforce FAQ

When is Dreamforce 2019?

This year’s Dreamforce is one of the latest in recent history, taking place from November 19-22, 2019.

Where is Dreamforce being held?

The conference is held in Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco, but often spans the surrounding area due to the scale of the event. For instance, Conga is once again taking over the ThirstyBear Brewing Company for our Dreamforce headquarters, just a block away from Moscone.

How much is Dreamforce?

A full conference pass is $1,999, however, Dreamforce general admission sold out on August 30, 2019. You can still register with a code if you have one.

Why attend Dreamforce?

Dreamforce has expanded to much more than just your average conference. You’ll still take advantage of inspiring and innovative keynotes and engaging sessions, but the additional experiences and networking opportunities have transformed Dreamforce into an event you almost can’t afford to miss. Salesforce put together a few reasons why you should attend, including a letter you can share with your boss if you need help convincing them to let you go.

When can I register for Dreamforce sessions?

Dreamforce is offering over 2,700 sessions and keynotes covering innovative topics. You can start bookmarking your sessions today, and use the agenda builder closer to the event to plan out your experience.

Who goes to Dreamforce?

Dreamforce draws a crowd of professionals spanning from every industry and region imaginable—if they have a use for Salesforce, they can find value in Dreamforce! In addition to users and potential users of Salesforce, partner companies, sponsors, and other vendors will set up shop at Dreamforce.

How many people attend Dreamforce?

In 2018, over 170,000 people registered for Dreamforce, while 13.5 million people viewed content online. That’s a lot of Trailblazers!

Who is performing at Dreamforce 2019?

One of the most exciting parts of Dreamforce is Dreamfest. Fleetwood Mac is taking the stage this year, and is sure to be full of good vibes, great eats, and incredible music.

How can I prepare for Dreamforce?

There are many ways to prepare for the biggest conference of the year. Bookmarking sessions and building out your agenda will help as you map out your days in San Francisco. Reference some of the resources we shared last year, including our experts’ tips and packing guide. We're hosting another Dreamforce expert panel webinar this year—register now and we'll send you the recording if you can't make it in real-time. You can also keep an eye on this page as we continue to update our guide to Dreamforce.

Time for the important part—tell me about the Dreamforce parties.

Dreamforce is a weeklong celebration, with happy hours and parties popping up all over the city, but you’ll want to make sure you have the best parties on your radar. Dreamfest is always anticipated, and this year Fleetwood Mac is taking the stage! Conga is hosting a pre-Dreamfest Secret Show at the ThirstyBear—check out our very special guest and RSVP today! Our silent disco has also been a Dreamforce favorite for a few years running. We pack the house every year, so be sure to sign up now to get on the guest list!

Ultimate Dreamforce packing list

Dreamforce 2019 is coming up fast, and it’s time to get serious about planning for a successful experience. Everyone who is investing time and resources into the conference knows the ultimate goal is to walk away with new connections and actionable knowledge from the Salesforce experts and innovative vendors. But with an event as large and jam-packed as Dreamforce, you’ll need a game plan and a few aces up your sleeve to ensure you make the most out of your experience. We tracked down some of our resident Dreamforce experts and rounded up their best insider advice to help you put the finishing touches on your packing checklist as you prepare for San Francisco. You can also get a downloadable list here, so you can check off each item as you pack!

1. Portable battery/charger

Most of us don’t need reminding that our phones and tablets have evolved into necessary lifelines, especially as we travel. Chances are, your phone will be working overtime during Dreamforce as you use it to keep track of your schedule, take notes during sessions, snap photos, record contact info for new connections, and help you navigate Moscone and downtown San Francisco.

Our Dreamforce experts recommend investing in a portable battery or charging stick for your phone—this tool will become indispensable, especially if you’re using your phone for battery-draining GPS. You may have access to outlets throughout the day, especially if you stop by the ThirstyBear for our Digital Transformation Wonderland, but it’s best to not rely on the possibility of snagging an unoccupied outlet and to come prepared with an alternate solution.

2. Compression socks

As mentioned in last year’s Dreamforce panel webinar, attendees should plan to spend a lot of time on their feet over the course of the week. As you log tens of thousands of steps each day, keeping the blood flowing in your legs and feet will be critical. Compression socks will apply pressure to your lower legs, helping to maintain blood flow and reduce swelling and discomfort as you stand and walk for the majority of the four days of Dreamforce.

3. Comfortable and supportive shoes

In addition to compression socks, a pair (or two) of comfortable shoes will be a game changer for your Dreamforce experience. While you may be tempted to pack your most stylish shoes in anticipation for your meetings and networking opportunities, you won’t be able to be your best self if you’re uncomfortable or in pain. Ditch the dress shoes in favor of a sensible pair that will provide comfort and support as you spend the majority of the week on your feet. Make sure they double as dancing shoes, though—you’ll need them for our highly-anticipated silent disco!

4. Band-Aids or blister cushions

In case you completely ignore our recommendation to wear comfortable shoes (we get it—sometimes style wins out), you’ll want to have a remedy for those painful blisters.

5. Advil

We’re all human. With four days of walking, countless sessions, demos, networking, and, let’s be honest, a few more parties than you’re typically used to attending in a week, you’re bound to feel it. Get ahead of your own exhaustion (and bad decisions) and throw some Advil in your suitcase before heading to San Francisco. If you forget, many hotels will have pain relievers and other sundries available at the front desk.

6. Vitamin C and hand sanitizer

When you pack 200,000 people into one venue for a week, there’s generally an exchange of more than just ideas. Germs will be abound, and when you add travel and sleep deprivation to the equation, arriving home with the sniffles is a high possibility for many attendees. You’ll be shaking a lot of hands, and not everyone will be concerned with keeping their germs to themselves. Keep hand sanitizer handy to keep those germs at bay. And, when packing your Advil, it’ll be worth it to add Vitamin C supplements as well to help keep your immune system on the up-and-up throughout the week.

7. Coffee

While we’re not recommending you actually pack coffee in your luggage, if you’re a coffee drinker or going to depend on a caffeine boost from time to time, it’ll be beneficial to have a gameplan for the week. Moscone will offer several coffee and water stations throughout the venue, but with so many attendees and vendors, you may want to have a backup option. If you’re staying in a hotel, take advantage of any coffee options in your room or elsewhere in the hotel for your morning fix before you head to Moscone.

For coffee options outside of Dreamforce, we’ll be stocked with coffee at the ThirstyBear, just down the street from Moscone, so you can grab an energy boost while you stop by a demo or solution station session. For an actual coffee break from the madness of Dreamforce, head to Blue Bottle Coffee. Just a ten-minute walk from Moscone, you can enjoy a full breakfast and lunch menu, and coffee worthy of an Instagram post.

8. Gum and breath mints

See above. The coffee flows freely at Dreamforce—make sure the coffee breath doesn’t. You’ll be making a lot of first impressions throughout the week, so don’t forget to stock up on gum or mints to keep your breath fresh.

9. Business cards

Remember all those hands you’ll be shaking? Make sure to bring plenty of business cards to exchange with all the new connections you make at the conference. As a reminder, Dreamforce is sold out—bring a lot of cards.

10. Extra tote bag

You know who attends Dreamforce? Marketers. You know what marketers are always giving away? Tons of swag. If you’re a swag collector, you may want to pack an extra tote to store all of your new goodies.

11. Flexible conference strategy

Last, but certainly not least, make sure you “pack” a solid plan for your week. Set your objectives for the week and come prepared with a baseline strategy that will ensure the most valuable experience possible. Dreamforce can be overwhelming, with hundreds of people fighting for your attention, making it easy to get off track if you don’t have a game plan. It’s important to remain flexible, however, as you may need to adjust your plan once you arrive and the event is well under way.

Bookmark your agendas to help keep yourself organized throughout the week, and to make sure you stay up-to-date on the events and sessions you’re most interested in attending.
