Conga Appoints Grant Peterson as Chief Product Officer
Industry Veteran to Drive Next Generation of Transformative Product Development
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Jan. 28, 2021 – Conga, the global leader in commercial operations transformation, today announced the appointment of Grant Peterson as Chief Product Officer. Peterson will be responsible for transforming Conga’s Commercial Operations Suite into an all-encompassing platform for commercial operations, while leveraging the company’s strengths and differentiators to maximize growth and market share.
Prior to joining Conga, Peterson spent 12 years as the Chief Technology Officer at DocuSign, where he was responsible for product architecture, innovation, engineering and technical operations. While Peterson retired in 2019, he has served as a consultant to Conga over the past two months, working directly with the product and engineering teams. Peterson identified an incredible opportunity for Conga in the commercial operations space and an immensely solid growth market, driving him to come out of retirement and serve as CPO.
“Grant’s appointment has come at an extremely transformative time for Conga. His multidimensional way of thinking combines bravery and boldness with an impressive industry acumen,” said Noel Goggin, CEO of Conga. “At Conga, we pride ourselves on the Conga Way; embracing entrepreneurial spirit, achieving success as a team, and championing our customers. Grant encompasses all of these traits, making him an undeniable fit for our executive team.”
Peterson aims to bring a new and unique product vision to Conga, creating a revenue and commerce platform for any company transforming its commercial operations so they can shift their focus on keeping up with their customers. As part of his new role, he will be merging efforts of the product and engineering teams to collaboratively forge a strong partnership for the development of strategy with seamless execution. It is Peterson’s goal to hone in on the importance of a powerful solution for customer success and leading the team at Conga to becoming a dominant front-runner in the space for commercial excellence.
“My excitement for today speaks for itself as I’ve come out of my recent retirement to join the team at Conga. The potential for Conga to generate success in the commercial operations transformation space is tremendous,” said Grant Peterson, CPO of Conga. “I’m eager to incorporate the Conga Way into all aspects of my work, leveraging our innovative culture and entrepreneurial spirit to think outside of the box in terms of product development and redefine our space. You can only make those changes in innovation if you have an agile culture where people embrace that change - and I’m so proud Conga does.”
