Conga Spotlight: The Financial Services Edition 2022 

Steven heads up the Project Portfolio Office at Nomura, covering a range of cross-functional transformation programmes. He is also leading a strategic client data and client lifecycle programme, including a transformation of Legal’s Masters documentation and negotiation process. Prior to Nomura, he has worked at a number of European and US investment banks, both in change and in line roles in Finance and Risk.

Priti is a highly motivated professional with over 15 years of technology transformation experience. Strong track record of successfully delivering high profile and complex front office and back-office projects. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams of varying sizes and competencies. Recently moved into the Salesforce space 7 years ago. 

Andy is a Partner and Co-Head of PwC’s NewLaw practice. A leading outsourcing and technology lawyer by background, Andy focuses on helping large in-house legal teams to dramatically improve their performance by making changes to their strategy, organisations, and business processes. In doing so, he helps clients identify the capabilities that will support future growth, free up funds to invest in that growth, and develop the organisation to make changes sustainable. Andy has extensive experience in designing, implementing and developing LawTech and workflow solutions for global in-house legal teams, including major rollouts. 

Phil founded Comnexa alongside Dan Williams in 2017 and is responsible for the company's commercial activity. He has also worked with Comnexa's clients to help them use Salesforce and associated technology to ensure data backed strategy within business development and marketing functions. Prior to starting Comnexa, Phil has held business development and marketing roles within the financial services and telecoms industry. 

Natasha is a Director within our Legal Technology team who brings a wealth of experience in leading and delivering on large scale technology transformation programmes within financial services. She has over ten years of experience in applying technology and analytics solutions in a variety of sectors, leading complex change programmes acting as the key liaison between business and technology, helping clients bring in new technology or enhance existing technology to support their business processes, regulatory compliance and remediation activities.

Akber advises financial institutions at the intersection of Fintech and Legaltech to achieve business optimisation, regulatory compliance and operational efficiencies. After serving as the head of the legal practice at Sapient, Akber founded D2LT in 2011, where he has overseen its growth during the last ten years across the UK, US and Asia. He acts as a trusted advisor to a number of investment banks and asset managers, including advising both ISDA and ISLA on legal agreement digitisation, leading their clause taxonomy and library projects.  
Akber also sits on Law Society’s Technology Law Committee where he chairs the digital assets and smart contracts sub-committee and is a PRIME Finance Expert.  

Richard Robinson is a Head of Financial Services Solutions at Conga leading solution development for Financial Services and Insurance. He works with prospects and clients to design and develop technology-enabled workflows using a methodology of “clicks, not code” to drive agile and scalable solutions that are managed with minimal IT intervention. Prior to joining Conga, he held leadership roles in FinTech, including S&P Global’s Capital IQ division where he was the Global Head of Integrated Solutions focused on deploying innovative workflow and data architectures. Leveraging his experience in financial technology & data, consulting, equity research, and banking, Richard has become a trusted advisor for Conga’s top clients in the financial industry looking to transform operational requirements into effective technical frameworks.
